But I am back, and hopefully ready to blog. So here was my summer in 140-character, Tweet style form:
1. My brother-in-law got married on the Chesapeake Bay. There were boats.
2. Wedding site: I now have my summer home picked out if I ever get really, really rich. #agirlcandream.
3. My autistic nephew had a bar mitzvah. He did great! Everyone cried.
4. There was a veggie juice bar. They did not have that in the #shetl.
5. The swim team had a so-so season.

6. My son went to sleepaway camp - his
sixth and final year.
7. He wrote me one letter. #youshouldwriteyourmother.
8. I went to three yoga classes all summer. I think we have broken up.
9. I just don't have time for you anymore. Namaste.
10. But I now work out at home with my BFF, Jillian Michaels. What's her real name? #secretlyajew #Julierosenblatt?
11. I got an even number of nastygrams to fan mail since June.
12. Books I read: Love is a Mix Tape; Drinking: A Love Story; Bossypants; A Long Strange Trip: The Inside History of the Grateful Dead.
13. Spoiler Alert: You know how that last story ends. #tragicmemoirs.
14. I flew with my son to San Francisco. If you know me, you know I am crazy early - or at least on time - always.
15. And yet we missed our flight. Dulles + United + summer = #incompetent.
16. We had a great time in California. Husband, son, other family, Berkeley envy.
17. I could be a vegan if I lived in Berkeley.
18. Speaking of which, I have given up meat, chicken, diet coke, most alcohol, most dairy. I know, #nofun but #healthy.
19. If you are in Sonoma, you should go to this place. #yum.
20. Also in Sonoma, a great hotel spa. My husband went with me. He's fancy like that now.
